The United Arab Emirates IPv6 Task Force is a multi-stakeholder
organisation tasked to drive deployment and awareness of IPv6  in the
UAE and will endeavour to exchange.

knowledge and experience with other IPv6 worldwide Task Forces.

The Task Force has won and will further recruit networking and
application experts from the relevant government bodies and private
sectors like Telecom, Education, Oil & Gas, Banking sector and Retail.

Case Technology has pioneered this initiative back in 1999 becoming
thereby the first founding member of the international IPv6 Forum and
organized the first IPv6 Summit in February 2001 and the second Gulf
IPv6 summits in 2005 in the UAE.

During the second summit, Case Technology and Etisalat have initiated
the formation of the UAE IPv6 Task Force and won support for its
creation from industry, academia and government. This Task Force is
non-profit and chapter of the IPv6 Forum.
